During the weekend of November 1 and 2, 2025, eighteen Amsterdam street photographers showcased their work: street photos taken in Amsterdam itself.
The photos were displayed on six fly-posting columns in the city center. In this way, the photographers are bringing street photography back to where it belongs—on the streets.
A unique exhibition you could discover on foot or by bike. Accessible to any Amsterdammer or visitor who happens to be passing by. No admission, no opening hours. Viewable for only a few days, until the images disappear from the streets.
Just like the subjects of our photographs – briefly present, then gone again.
The entire project was documented in a special zine that participants received.
The Amsterdam street photographers are:
Anna Gilg * Caspar Gim * Daan Heijbroek * Dennis Sewberath Misser * Elmer van der Marel * Gongbu Han * Judy Wessels * Kitty de Jong * Lemke Bakker * Marnix van Bokhorst * Martijn Barth * Michiel van Mens * Michiel Schipper * Michiel Weitkamp * Mike Terhaar * Owen Schumacher * Peter De Witte * Remco Visser
